A fun flower for the garden is Crazy Leg Dahlias. They are smaller blooms that are abundant on the plant. The petal has a top color and a bottom color. The top of the petal is yellow and the bottom is pink. Because of this pattern, this dahlia is known as a two tone dahlia. As the petals unfurl, those closest to the center and folded up are pink, but the open petals present yellow. They are a fun addition to the color schemes in the garden.

This fun addition to the garden came at the request of our daughter. She is full of her own strong opinions and likes. Sometimes her outfits are a little crazy and we try to give her the choice of picking her clothing, but in all honesty our daughter sometimes presents in crazy leggings that don’t match anything else on her body, so Crazy Leg Dahlias are a good reminder of our own girl.
