Honeymoon Dahlia

Honeymoon Dahlias are new to our garden in 2022. Clearly when we were shopping for new flowers, soft oranges and peaches were on our mind as we brought 4 different varieties of this color scheme into the garden. This flower produces a peachy orange petal with a hint of yellow int he center of the petal as it attaches to the stem. In images we have found online, this flower has potential as a bright orange so the cooler summer temps may influence the petal color. As we get to know this variety better, we will add more details on how it does in the coastal climate. So far we are liking that this is a shorter variety plant and that works well for stacking dahlias for a wall of color. This variety could work as a border dahlia.
