Dahlia seed is a way to get brand new, special cultivars. Dahlias have 8 sets of chromosomes making for total chance. Often seeds will produce open center bloom and seeds are not true to the parent. The may be short or tall, the fun is in the mystery.

Many factors go into growing seeds so be careful you keep them moist but not wet. We can’t control your growing conditions once seed leaves our farm.

Each seed packet will come with a minimum of 20 seeds, but we stopped counting and went with liberal 1/2 tsp scoops.
