Description
Herb dill seed Anethum graveolens is a tasty plant. The foliage is fern like and plants from 3-5feet talks based on soil conditions. The fern leaves can be used for pickles, fish, breads, sauces and more.
The seed can be eaten whole or crush as a seasoning or roasted.
This is a full sun plant that needs 18-24 inch spacing and will self sow in the garden for future crops if you let it seed and drop in your garden. Grown as an annual in most zones, can be started in pots and transplanted after risk of frost is gone.
Many factors go into growing seeds so be careful you keep them moist but not wet. We can’t control your growing conditions once seed leaves our farm.
Each packet contains 1/4 teaspoon of seed which is an estimated 40 seeds or more.
