Description
A heirloom variety also known as Connecticut pumpkin produces 2-4 pound pumpkins. The meat lacks strings and makes great pies, breads, soups and more. The seeds are also tasty roasted. Water availability determines size and number of fruits. They like warm growing conditions with good organic material to pull nutrients from. Plant 1-2 plants to a hill.

Can be started indoors and transplanted after last frost. In cooler climates, put a greenhouse tent over the immature plants to encourage growth. These do produce in cool climates unlike larger varieties.
Many factors go into growing seeds so be careful you keep them moist but not wet. We can’t control your growing conditions once seed leaves our farm.
