Sweet Basil Seed

Description

Sweet basil is fragrant and tasty. Leaves may be harvested for cooking, salads or our favorite caprese salads. Cutting stems encourages more growth. Remove flowers to promote growth. Enjoys warmer temps to support growth.

Height 20-24″ tall

Plant 16″ apart.

Sow seeds 1/8″ deep.

Sow seeds when soil is 70 degrees for proper germination. Can be started indoors and transplanted after last frost. Prefers warmer growing conditions over 70 degrees and is frost sensitive annual.

Grow in full sun

Packets include 25-30 seeds.

Many factors go into growing seeds so be careful you keep them moist but not wet. We can’t control your growing conditions once seed leaves our farm.
